Baby is 17 weeks old & heartbeat is pumping

Your baby is now nearly 5.5 inches/ 13 centimetres long from crown to rump and weighs approximately 5 ounces/ 140 grams.

Her skeleton is mostly rubbery cartilage, which will harden later. A protective substance called myelin slowly begins to wrap around the spinal cord.

With the help of a special stethoscope, you can now hear your baby's heartbeat. There's almost nothing more comforting or exciting than hearing your baby's heartbeat galloping along.

Handy Bergson made Nathanael his Swing

When we first posted up Nathanael's new sensory integration exercise , to be swung in cicular movement on a make-shift swing, we asked for help to build a swing. We are so thankful for friends who read the blog, and friends who have the knowledge and skillset to help build one for Nathanael. Bergson was telling us that he read about our plea for help to build a swing for Nathanael last week. And this weekend he popped over to build a swing for Nathanael! Just like that!! BIG Thank You uncle Bergson!! Making of Nathanael's Swing [ story by Nathanael ] The idea was to get this little U-shaped hook to be stuck firmly in the ceiling, so that this would form the base structure to hand the swing. Our Bangkok Holiday

First and foremost ... our deepest apologies for those of you who visit our Blog for the last month! We've been extremely busy with managing both Nathanael and Zoe Joy (but a JOY nevertheless), and busy migrating one of our blogs to its own domain (painful and tiring!) and of course trying to sell our Condo and prepare to move to our New One . Well apart from the normal hectics of our daily chores and work, we are still managing pretty well! Thank U Lord for your grace. ... its the Amazing Grace! :) Anyway... we booked our tickets way back in January (even before Zoe Joy) was born, and we thought it would be a pretty good idea! Guess what ? It turned out to be a GREAT IDEA! We had an absolutely, fantastic, relaxing and fun time together in Bangkok for Four Days.
